That's it! Let's look at each field.

Example Trade Entry

Let's log a real trade:

Symbol: AAPL
Direction: Long
Entry Date: December 15, 2024
Entry Time: 10:30 AM
Entry Price: $195.50
Quantity: 50 shares

Adding Exit Details

If Trade is Closed

Add exit information:

FieldWhat to EnterExample
Exit DateWhen you exitedDec 15, 2024
Exit TimeTime of exit11:45 AM
Exit PriceYour exit fill$197.25

Your P/L is calculated automatically:

P/L = (Exit Price - Entry Price) × Quantity
P/L = ($197.25 - $195.50) × 50 = $87.50

If Trade is Still Open

Leave exit fields empty:

  • Trade shows as "Open" in your list
  • P/L updates with market (if tracking enabled)
  • Add exit when you close the position
