Your Data Rights
You have full control over your data in TradeLogist.
Exporting Your Data
What you can export:
- All trade records (CSV, Excel)
- Analytics reports (PDF)
- Account information
- Strategy configurations
How to export:
- Go to Settings → Data
- Click Export All Data
- Choose format (CSV, JSON, or ZIP)
- Download begins automatically
Export includes:
- Complete trade history
- All attached notes and tags
- Strategy definitions
- Account settings
Right to Portability
Under GDPR and similar laws, you can:
- Request complete data export
- Receive data in machine-readable format
- Transfer to another service
Deleting Your Account
What happens:
- All personal data permanently deleted
- All trade data permanently deleted
- Account cannot be recovered
- Subscription cancelled (if applicable)
How to delete:
- Go to Settings → Account
- Scroll to Delete Account
- Enter password to confirm
- Click Permanently Delete
Timeline:
- Immediate: Access removed
- 30 days: Data fully purged from systems
- Backups: Removed within 90 days
Before Deleting
We recommend:
- Export all data first
- Cancel subscription to avoid charges
- Save any reports you need
- Consider downgrade to Free instead
Partial Deletion
You can also:
- Delete individual trades
- Clear trade history (keep account)
- Remove specific strategies
- Delete attached files
Data Retention
Active accounts:
- Data kept as long as account active
- Regular backups maintained
Deleted accounts:
- Data removed within 30 days
- Backup copies removed within 90 days
- Anonymized analytics may be retained
