Understanding the Dashboard
Dashboard Overview
Your TradeLogist dashboard is your command center for trading performance insights.
Dashboard Components
1. Performance Summary Cards
At the top, you'll see key metrics:
- Total P/L: Your overall profit or loss
- Win Rate: Percentage of profitable trades
- Profit Factor: Ratio of gross profit to gross loss
- Average Win/Loss: Your typical trade outcome
2. Equity Curve
The equity curve shows your account growth over time:
- Green areas: Periods of growth
- Red areas: Drawdown periods
- Hover for detailed values on any date
3. Recent Trades
A quick view of your most recent trades with:
- Symbol and direction
- P/L amount and percentage
- Trade duration
- Strategy used
4. Calendar Heatmap
Visual representation of daily P/L:
- Dark green: Highly profitable days
- Light green: Slightly profitable days
- Red shades: Losing days
- Gray: No trading activity
Customizing Your View
Time Filters
Filter data by:
- Today, This Week, This Month
- Custom date ranges
- Specific strategies
Metric Preferences
Adjust how metrics are displayed:
- Percentage vs. dollar amounts
- Including/excluding commissions
- Per-share vs. total position
Quick Actions
From the dashboard, you can:
- Add New Trade: Quick entry form
- View Reports: Detailed analytics
- Export Data: Download your trades
- Settings: Customize your experience
