Configure alerts, reminders, and notification preferences in TradeLogist

Notifications

Stay informed about your trading activity with customizable notifications.

Accessing Notification Settings

  1. Click your avatar in the top-right corner
  2. Select Settings
  3. Navigate to Notifications tab

Notification Channels

Email Notifications

Receive updates to your registered email:

  • Instant: Sent immediately
  • Daily Digest: Once per day summary
  • Weekly Summary: Weekly overview

Push Notifications

Browser push notifications (where supported):

  • Requires browser permission
  • Works even when app is closed
  • Click to go directly to relevant page

In-App Notifications

Notifications within TradeLogist:

  • Bell icon in header
  • Badge count for unread
  • Notification center panel

Configuring Alerts

Drawdown Alert

Set up warnings when drawdown exceeds threshold:

  1. Enable Drawdown Alert
  2. Set threshold (e.g., 5%)
  3. Choose notification method

Streak Notifications

Get notified about trading streaks:

  • Winning streak milestones
  • Losing streak warnings
  • Break reminders after losses

Custom Alerts

Create your own alert conditions:

  • Based on metrics
  • Time-based reminders
  • Custom thresholds

Notification Schedule

Quiet Hours

Set times when notifications are muted:

  • Start time
  • End time
  • Days of week

Example: No notifications 10 PM - 7 AM

Trading Hours Only

Limit notifications to market hours:

  • Pre-market start
  • After-hours end
  • Holiday handling

Managing Notifications

Notification Center

Access all notifications:

  1. Click bell icon in header
  2. View recent notifications
  3. Mark as read/unread
  4. Clear all option

Notification History

View past notifications:

  • Last 30 days
  • Filter by type
  • Search functionality

Unsubscribe from Emails

Each email includes unsubscribe link:

  • One-click unsubscribe
  • Manage preferences link
  • Category-specific options

Recommended Settings

For Active Day Traders

Daily P/L Summary: On (Evening)
Weekly Report: On (Saturday)
Journal Reminder: On (End of day)
Drawdown Alert: On (3-5%)

For Swing Traders

Daily P/L Summary: Off
Weekly Report: On
Open Trade Alert: On
Review Reminder: On

For Privacy Focused

Push Notifications: Off
Email: Security only
In-App: All enabled

Troubleshooting

Not Receiving Emails

  1. Check spam/junk folder
  2. Verify email address is correct
  3. Add [email protected] to contacts
  4. Check email preferences are enabled

Push Notifications Not Working

  1. Check browser permissions
  2. Ensure notifications are enabled
  3. Try logging out and back in
  4. Check browser settings

Too Many Notifications

  1. Review notification settings
  2. Disable less important types
  3. Switch to digest mode
  4. Set quiet hours
